Are Pixilated photo booth rentals available in my location?
If you are in the United States...the answer is YES! We ship free to the lower 48 states (and the District of Columbia).
How does your online booking process work?
It's simple!
- Select your favorite Photo Booth Rental Kits and add to cart
- Select your preferred Extras & Add-ons and add to cart
- On your cart page, include any spcial instructions in the Order Details and select your Event Date
- Checkout! This is where you can enter your shipping and billing details as well as enter any discount codes

When will I receive my photo booth rental kit before my event?
We ship your equipment to you with a target delivery date of 2 business days before your event. This gives us a little "wiggle room" in case of any unexpected delays. We guarantee that your shipment will arrive at least one day before your event. For more information, check out our Delivery Guarantee.
What payment methods do you accept?
Through our website, we accept all major credit cards, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Do you have last minute rentals available?
We pride ourselves on being able to fulfill last minute rentals! In most cases, we can figure out an way to rush fulfillment and expedite shipments to help you pull it off. Contact us here, give us a call, or use the Live Chat feature at the bottom of our website and we'll let you know your options.
Can I book over the phone?
Yes! Call us between 9:00AM - 5:00PM ET Monday through Friday at 888-902-0054. We're happy to answer any questions and can even accept payment over the phone.
Do you offer discounts?

What types of events are these typically rented for?
Our photo booth rental kits are great for events big and small! Perfect for weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, holiday parties, campus events, 5K races and marathons, retreats, nonprofit events, graduation parties, showers, grand openings, festivals, venues and so much more!
Why are your prices so much cheaper than the local companies in my area?
By offering a DIY-style photo booth rental kit we are able to eliminate a lot of the costs associated with most staffed photo booth services. Without labor costs, travel and setup fees, or material costs for onsite printing, we're able to pass those savings through to you! It also enables us to serve the entire United States rather than just our local region and allows us to rent by the day instead of by the hour.
Rental Process
How does your online booking process work?
It's simple!
- Select your favorite Photo Booth Rental Kits and add to cart
- Select your preferred Extras & Add-ons and add to cart

- Checkout! This is where you can enter your shipping and billing details as well as enter any discount codes
- Once your order is submitted, you'll receive a confirmation email with details and next steps

How far in advance of my event do I need to book?
We guarantee availability 6 weeks ahead of your event. That said, we usually have availability 4-6 weeks out. If less than 4 weeks out, it will depend on the season. With a large inventory of units, we pride ourselves on being able to offer last minute rentals, but to be safe, book early!
What happens after I place my order?
- We ship the kit to you. Guaranteed to arrive at least one day prior to your event. Includes everything you need. Delivered by UPS right to your doorstep.
- You set it up and take photos. Unpack. Assemble. Connect to wifi...then the fun ensues! Snap away!
- Then you send it back to us. The next business day following your event, pack up the equipment in the original box and drop it at the nearest UPS Store.
How long can I use my rental for?
Our booths rent by the day, not the hour…so you can use it for up to 24 hours!
Need it for longer? You can extend you rental by purchasing Additional Days for just $149 per day (applies to all rental kits).
Do I get all of the photos from my event?
Yes, of course! Once you ship your rental kit back to us we'll send you an email with two links. One link to your online gallery (which you can make public or private) and one link to download all of the image files.
Are your rentals "per hour" or "per day"?
We rent by the day, not the hour, giving you the flexibility you need.

What is the difference between the "Base - 8MP" camera and the "Pro - 18MP" camera?
The Base - 8MP camera is an 8-megapixel tablet camera that uses an LED with three brightness settings as the lighting source. This is our most budget-friendly option.
The Pro - 18MP camera is a built-in external camera with a "smart flash" as the lighting source. This takes crisper, high-resolution photos and works great in nearly any lighting scenario.
What is the difference between "Standard" design and "Customized" design?
Standard design includes our classic booth interface without any customization options, like logos, graphics or frames. This is a great option if you have a busy backdrop or are going for a clean, classic look.
Customized design allows you to use our templates or to work with our designers to create your very own branded booth experience. Great for wedding themes and monograms, or for corporate events to add logos.
How much space is required?
Our kiosks themselves have a footprint of 3'x3' and don't require a backdrop. If you plan to set up a backdrop, we'd suggest approximately 8'x10' footprint.
How do my guests get their photos?
After each photo session, your guests can email or text their picture to up to 5 people. After the event we will email you (the host) a link to download and view the entire event photo gallery.
Will my booth function without Wi-Fi?
Yes, our kiosks still work without Wi-Fi. When not connected to the internet, they function in "offline mode". When offline, the photos are stored on the device until it connects to the internet. Upon connection, the photos will be saved to your gallery and sent to your guests who entered their emails and phone numbers.
That said, for the best experience, we suggest connecting your booth to a stable Wi-Fi signal so your guests can receive their texts and emails with their photos instantly!

Did you know you can add a wifi hotspot to your rental? We provide them as an add-on for just $99.
Does the photo booth need to be plugged into an outlet?
No, you don't need access to power. We provide two battery packs that can run up to 4 hours each. One can be charging while the other is in use and you can swap them periodically.
That said, if you want to set it and forget it, you can plug it into an outlet using the supplied wall plug and extension cord.
Do you have an instant printing option?
No, our photo booths are digital. Guests receive their photos instantly through text message or email.
If you want printed photos for an album, scrapbook or to put in your thank you cards, we do offer post-event fulfillment of Printed Photos.
Can the GIF Booth also take still photos?
Yes! Our GIF Booth has two buttons on the screen - one says Tap for Photo and the other says Tap for GIF. Your guests get to choose!
Is the physical green screen backdrop included in the Green Screen Booth?
Yes, we provide you with a fabric green screen backdrop that includes an 10'x8' backdrop stand. It ships in a separate box.
Shipping & Returns
Is shipping really free?
You bet! As long as your order is placed 7 days in advance of your event date, we'll cover shipping costs.
How far in advance do I need to place my order to take advantage of free shipping?
We guarantee free shipping for events that are 7+ days away. To confirm your eligibility for free shipping, go to our Transit Time Shipping Map to check details for your exact location.
Do you ship my rental right after I place my order?
No, not unless it is a rush order and needs to ship instantly to arrive in time. Otherwise, we schedule your shipment in accordance with your event date. We target a delivery date of 2 business days before your event to ensure it arrives on time.
When will I receive my photo booth rental kit before my event?

How do I return my photo booth rental kit after my event?
On the first business after your event, you'll repackage the equipment in the same box it was originally sent in, place the included return label on the box covering the original label, and drop it off to the nearest UPS location. Our custom foam makes the repacking process simple so everything fits right back into place.
I lost my return shipping label. Can you email me a new one?
No problem. Contact us and include your email address and order number and we'll send you a printable version.

Are payments on your website safe and secure?
Yes, our website is powered by Shopify. Shopify's compliance covers all six PCI standard categories so all payment info and customer data is safe and secure.

Troubleshooting
Do you have setup instruction videos?
You bet! Go to our Resource Library for setup videos and instructions.
Why won't my photo booth turn on?
First, try holding in the power button on the tablet. Sometimes you may need to hold it for up to 5 seconds.
If that doesn't work, check to see if the battery indicator on the screen appears. If the battery is below 10%, you'll to use the included USB wall plug (and extension cord if necessary) to plug it into a power outlet. A power outlet will charge it much faster than the battery packs.
If you have the Pro - 18MP camera, you may also need to charge the camera's internal battery as well. Both the tablet and camera can be charged simultaneously using the USB wall plug.
I can't access the kiosk, what's my PIN?

I'm having trouble connecting my photo booth to Wi-Fi, what should I do?
First, try connecting the tablet to your Wi-Fi directly from the native Settings app. Choose your signal, enter your Wi-Fi password and connect.
If it is a guest network that requires you to log on through a web portal, open the Chrome browser app and go through the prompts that appear in the portal.
If the above process does not work, try restarting the photo booth tablet and check if it connects upon reboot.

How do I connect my camera to the Pixi photo booth app?
Only applies to Pro - 18MP camera
- On the back of the kiosk above the bracket, remove the magnetic cover by sliding it to the side to give you access to the camera
- On the camera press the MENU button
- Select Application > Application List > Smart Remote Control
- Once Smart Remote Control is enabled, the tablet should connect to the camera

Build Your Own Photo Booth
How is Build Your Own Photo Booth different from the other Photo Booth Rental Kits listed on your site?
The Photo Booth Rental Kits are our original rental packages where we have curated the feature sets and variations into 4 core offerings: Photo Booth, GIF Booth, Black & White Booth, and Green Screen Booth.
Build Your Own Photo Booth is new! It is our latest and greatest way to offer you the ability to mix and match the feature sets from our original packages (listed above).
In the BYOPB step-by-step process, we start you out with a base model photo booth then you get to select options, from camera resolution to design customizations, you get to create the photo booth package that perfectly fits your style and budget. You only pay for ther features you want.
How much does BYOPB cost?
It depends on your preferences! You start out with our base model which is $288 per day. From there, the price will adjust along the way as you make your selections and add features.
During each step, your current price will be displayed on the screen and each available option will have its price listed, so you know what your cost is throughout the process. The pricing is transparent and we don't tack on any additional fees at the end.
What is the duration of a BYOPB rental?
The same as all of our photo booth rentals - 24 hours!
We rent by the day, not by the hour to give you the flexibility you need.
Is BYOPB eligible for free shipping?
You bet! As long as it is more than 7 day away, shipping is free. If it is within 7 days, check our Shipping Map for eligibility.
How long does it take to go through the BYOPB steps?
Less than 5 minutes.
There are 6 steps (and in some scenarios less) -- then a simple checkout process.
Once I've finished BYOPB, then what?
Once you've finished, you'll be able to review your selections and pricing. You can toggle between options if you need to make any changes. If everything looks good, click Add to Cart.
In addition, you'll have the opportunity to select any extras & add-ons (like a hotspot, backdrop, props, etc) directly from this screen.
Once you're ready to complete your booking, simply review your cart and click Checkout.

If I supply my own backdrop, what size should it be?
While any backdrop will technically work, to avoid showing the edges in the photos, we recommend minimum 8 feet wide by 7 feet tall.
The backdrop stands that we supply with our rental Backdrops extend up to 10 feet wide by 8 feet tall.
